By Zeppelin' is the UK's Premier Led Zeppelin tribute
band, and are based in Kent. The band was formed in 2000,
and after several years of hard gigging and building up
a loyal following the band has now achieved its best line
up to date.Led By Zeppelin are now well and truly ready
to give a fantastic tribute to the music of the great
Led Zeppelin. The band prides themselves around being
authentic in dress, looks and sound, and many of the tracks
you will hear are based around Zeppelin live versions
as well as studio versions. The band can offer a set that
ranges up to 3 hours, and includes an acoustic set, as
well as the great tracks that have made Led Zeppelin the
greatest four piece band ever to grace the music world.
The band also like to play other Led Zeppelin numbers
more known by die hard fans, such as 'Wanton Song' and
'Sick Again'. |

Lotta Led are a tribute band in the truest sense of the
word: Tribute ~ a thing said or done or given as a mark
of respect or affection etc. (The Concise Oxford Dictionary).
Originally formed as No Quarter in 1993 playing a wide
variety of rock standards, original compositions as well
as the odd Zeppelin number. Audience reaction to the Zeppelin
material in their set was such that in January 1996 the
band decided to play exclusively Led Zeppelin numbers
and changed their name to Whole Lotta Led. Originally
playing local clubs and pubs, the band soon progressed
to the major rock venues touring all over the UK and Europe.
Whole lotta Led regularly play two and a half hour sets
and perform approximately 100 concerts a year to enthusiastic
crowds. New generations are getting involved in the Zeppelin
experience, audiences at Whole Lotta Led gigs span four
generations from six to sixty and for most it is the first
opportunity of seeing Zeppelin,s music performed live.
Jimmy Page with Geoff & Rick. The bands aim is to
reproduce the classic Zep songs with the same enthusiasm,
excitement and passion that the original band created.
Whole Lotta Led are not a lookalike tribute, the music
was always the most important aspect of Led Zeppelin -
not what they looked like. |

WE ARE A LEVEL 42 TRIBUTE BAND BASED IN PORTSMOUTH, UK. HERE IS A RECENT WRITE UP OF ONE OF OUR GIGS. Being a follower of Level 42 I've been looking forward to tonight's review of Level 43, Level 42 are very technical and high profile so it will be interesting to see if the authenticity is delivered. The show starts in true Level 42 style with the thunderbirds intro very well done, and then into a selection of early classic and more commercial track selection of great Level 42 tunes. The band have an impressive collection of equipment and boy can they use it all the way down to fret light led's on James graphite status 'mark king' trademark "black beauty" bass guitar. Lee's Drumming is excellent on a Roland TD8 and guitar work is accurate and well delivered by both guitarists, James delivers bass impressively, even mark king would acknowledge Im sure, and Craig's rhythm support is more than competent, All is complemented by an impressive collection of modern and vintage samplers and synths. Selective sequencing (no purchased midi file sequences here) has been painstakingly programmed by neil, mixed in with live keyboard work. The accuracy of playing and sound selection from the Synths is great to hear, they have obviously taken alot of time to try and emulate the tracks as accurately as possible, which makes a change as most tributes have the "that will do approach", and im pleased to report that this is not the case with these guys, they certainly have taken things seriously! Vocals are good, accurate in tone and well mixed all making a great all round performance. Lights are controlled and give good atmosphere, and they leave the crowd wanting more, much more. If you like Level 42, but cant wait for the real thing? Or just appreciate good musicians well then If you get the opportunity to see this outfit, then take my advice. DO NOT MISS IT ! |

cruising the Caribbean, or touring in National Theatre
productions. In 1997, Maxine was a grand finalist in ‘Stars
in Their Eyes’ after winning her heat as Lulu. Following
the success of her ‘Lulu’ show Maxine landed
a main role in Bill Kenwright’s original West End
production of “The Roy Orbison Story” playing
the parts of Patsy Cline, Dusty Springfield & K.D.
Lang, where she received rave reviews. Currently she’s
touring with her Lulu and Dusty shows and not forgetting
Maxine Mazumder as herself! Maxine is also in constant
demand as one of the countries top voice over & session
singers. In any spare time she may have Maxine writes
songs with her husband and up to now they have written
the theme tunes for the new ‘Basil Brush Show’
for the BBC and a cartoon which is broadcast all over
Spain, Europe & Canada, called ‘Howdi Gaudi’. |
