Waterfront

Waterfront
are a 5 piece band based in Scotland consisting of Female
vocals, Drum’s, Keyboards, Bass Guitar and Lead
Guitar.
Established in 1996 – Waterfront have spent the
last 15 years entertaining clients all over the country
gaining a vast experience in their field. They can cater
for all occasions: Weddings, party’s, corporate
functions, holiday centres, show bars etc. For weddings
they can provide up to 3 hours worth of entertainment
with the addition of background music during breaks
etc. A selection of Scottish dances and other traditional
wedding dances are also available, though they do not
cater for a full ceilidh set. The band being completely
live employs a fully qualified sound engineer; this
allows the band to concentrate 100% on performance,
so all the sound requirements are taken care of off
stage. Volume is at the discretion of each client, however
being live there are certain restrictions though they
will do our up most to accommodate this. They employ
the same professional attitude in all circumstance and
assure that this is carried forth into every performance. |

After
playing over 1500 gigs back in the 90s all over the
U.K and Europe we decided to bring the show back.
The show has been upgraded with a full light show,full
glam costumes and full on sound system with our own
sound/lighting technician. We cover all the greats
from the glam era such as:- The Sweet, T.Rex, Bay
City Rollers, David Bowie, Mud and many more... |

The

| The
band started about five years ago when "Big Al"
and his band split up which was called Breathless at
that time we had a bass player called Dave who used
to stand in for Johnny Kid & the pirates in the
60's, we also had a drummer called Steve who was a college
lecturer but was more of a 70's style drummer. We rocked
around Liverpool a lot in the early days and started
to get a good name but as all good things come to an
end the lead singer and the drummer did not see eye
to eye and the band decided to call it a day. Within
three weeks and lots of itchy fingers later, the band
reformed with a new line up, as Big Al the lead guitarist
had had enough of all the bickering and lack of enthusiasm
but Bob would not let it die, we ended up with Pete
Barsdle from Manchester on lead guitar, Graham Brand
from Ribchester (now in Vendettas) on Double Bass and
Paul the Drummer from the Rhythmaires so we rocked around
for twelve months having a good time. Until Paul the
Drummer decided he wanted to leave to start his own
project and in came Wayne our present Rock n Roll Drummer.
Eventually the band split up "AGAIN". But
Bob would not let it die again and his quiff started
to fall out with the lack of Rock n Roll. So a phone
call later and Big Al after a 12 month break returned
to the band as lead guitarist and Dave his mate the
Bass player came to. So nearly the original line up
apart from the drummer, we rocked around again for quite
a long while and unfortunately Dave the Bass player
had rheumatism in his fingers had to hang up his bass
after playing for 40 years "wot a guy". We
still had gigs booked in for the coming months so we
needed a bass player very soon and in stepped Geoff
who played with the Winchesters for the last ten years
with the nick name of "Horace". This had to
go we call him "Big Slap Daddy" the granddad
of the band and so the story ends for now as there are
no arguments and we are all mates, with a bit of persistence
Rock N Roll does live on. |

Wishful
Thinking is a top quality five piece band based in East
Sussex consisting of drums, keyboards, guitar and 2
female vocalists, although all members of the band are
lead / harmony vocals in their own right. Individually
and collectively each member offers a wide and varied
experience in most areas of popular music from standards
through to pop and modern dance classics. Wishful Thinking
have played a variety of venues at home and abroad including
premier hotels, corporate functions, masonic and charity
functions, military bases etc throughout the UK and
Europe. They have also worked extensively on cruise
liners including the QE2.
