To The 80's
Back To The 80s are a live 6-piece band with fantastic
Adam Ant and Madonna lookalikes, with the rest of
the band also in over-the-top 1980s costumes! They
play great 1980s party songs from Wham, Madonna,
Duran Duran, Cyndie Lauper, Kylie, Madness, Bananarama
and lots more. This band are also proud to play
the songs that other bands will not touch with a
proverbial bargepole, although 'I Won't Let The
Sun Go Down On Me' and ‘Fame’ always
go down like (another proverbial) house on fire!
Dare I mention 'Making Your Mind Up'? No, probably
not! Don’t forget your leggings!

Glitz are thrilled to announce that at the start of
their 15th year together, live music is still truly
alive and kicking! Last year saw even more legendary
festival appearances, including some really rocking
HOG events, also supporting some true 70's icons including
shows with Suzi Quatro, The Rubettes, Lieutenant Pigeon,
Showaddywaddy and the most fun of all - Slades homecoming
gig at the Robin 2 at Bilston! An electric atmosphere!
-keep rocking boyz! New fans often comment on the
similarity of Ballroom Glitz to The Darkness - we're
flattered but prefer to stick to the truth- we are
much nearer to 'sons and daughters' of Queen. Still,
all of these bands believed that you can play music
to a really high standard and still have some fun!
The band encompasses all the 70's tribute shows in
one spectacular party -and it is still a totally LIVE
show! . The variety of our set is one reason why many
people say they love the shows, rockers enjoy the
Hawkwind, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper side of the
show while the glammy's adore T Rex, Sweet, Mud, Slade
and even the Osmonds or The Bay City Rollers! There
is always room for a few smash hit disco tracks: Bee
Gees, and more, plus popular stuff from
Steve Harley, Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Abba and
piece band with female lead vocals playing songs
from the 70's and 80's up to present day. Excellent.
Street were formed in may 2001 by Jason Brooks.
Jason who has enjoyed a varied and successful career
as a professional bassist since leaving school took
the decision to form the band because it gave a
much greater stability to his life than the dog
eat dog touring and session route he had previously
been on. The band are storming all venues nationwide,
they have been invited over to play in Eilat for
3 weeks in September. The Beat Goes On.
Macs Wholly Soul Band
Mac’s were formed in 1991 as the house band
for the legendary Hollywood Club in Newport. Within
months of their formation The Commitments film was
released and the band, being of a similar size and
specializing too in 60’s Soul music, were inundated
with work, constantly playing in every club, pub and
eat house in South Wales. In a short time they were
supporting The Commitments at a number of venues and
were soon welcoming offers of work that took them
to holiday camps, five star hotels and nightclubs
both in the U.K. and abroad. They are a firm favourite
at weddings, festivals, corporate events and social
gatherings where a first class, energetic and wholly
infectious good time act is required.
